ACADEMY OF EDUCATORS

The ECSACOP Academy of Educators was formally established on 20th May 2019, at an inaugural meeting in Entebbe, Uganda. The Academy was created as part of the operationalisation of ECSACOP’s Training Model and serves as the principal quality assurance organ of the College.

The Academy is not responsible for operational issues and achieves its objectives largely through the evaluation of all matters relating to training (planning, instruction, assessment and feedback) and the review of course regulations and requirements. This function is mainly achieved through visiting the designated training sites.

The Secretariat’s main responsibilities are to manage the strategic development of ECSACOP and to support day-to-day administration of the ECSACOP training and examination processes. It receives support in areas of finance, administration and capacity building, research and IT support from the partners.
