About the Conference
The Annual ECSACOP scientific conference brings together delegates from different parts of the continent and abroad to share best practices and build lasting networks.
For the Year 2022, the College will hold its 7th Annual ECSACOP Scientific Conference from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th September. The event will be attended physically at Salima hotel in Malawi.
Call for Abstracts
The College accepted abstracts until 26th August. Download the abstracts guidelines here.

Venue
The conference will be held at Sunbird Waterfront Hotel and Sunbird Livingstonia Beach Hotel in Salima, Malawi.
Sunbird Waterfront Hotel and Sunbird Livingstonia Beach Hotel share the same premises and are managed by the same franchise.
Conference proceedings and events will be spread out between the two facilities.
Salima is a lakeshore district in southern Malawi. It is located 97 kilometres away from Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi.
Getting to Salima
The easiest way to get to Salima for international travellers is through Lilongwe.
Malawian Airlines, Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines have regular flights into Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe.
The distance between Lilongwe and Salima by road is 97 kilometres. Traffic between Lilongwe and Salima is generally light.
An airport shuttle will be available for delegates from Kamuzu International Airport and the conference and accommodation facilities in Salima. There will also be a regular shuttle running between the conference hotel and all the surrounding accommodation facilities where delegates will reside.
To facilitate arrangements for the airport shuttle, please send your flight itinerary to malawi2022conference@gmail.com so that the conference organizing team arrange a shuttle for your airport pick up and drop off.

About Malawi

Malawi has an estimated population of 19,000,000. The people of Malawi are known for their warmth and hospitality.
The main tourist attractions are its freshwater lake, Lake Malawi, the scenic Mulanje and Zomba mountains, several national parks, game reserves and cultural heritage centres. Lake Malawi is renowned for its wide biodiversity and enormous range of fish species.
